Spinal Cord Injury is Devastating

Spinal Cord Injury is Devastating

The general population sees Spinal Cord Injury as not being able to walk and having to use a wheelchair.

The damage is much deeper, it can result in a loss of breathing, hand function, walking, bowels, bladder and sexual function.
Chronic pain, inability to control body temperature, loss of sensation and so many other terrible consequences also occur.

Once an injury stabilizes there is NO recovery, and there are NO treatments available today.

What stops regeneration?

After a spinal cord injury, a scar forms to provide protection from further damage.

Unfortunately, this scar has been shown to block regeneration.

The nerves in the spinal cord get trapped in a component of the scar and cannot regrow.

This leads to limited recovery of function, and often no recovery at all.

Introducing CNTR-20

Introducing CNTR-20

CNTR-20 is a ground-breaking triad-peptide designed to get to the spinal cord, target the correct cells and reduce the scar.

Delivery is by a simple injection under the skin, allowing a quick, easy and scalable method of treating the millions of people with a spinal cord injury.

CNTR-20 then crosses the blood brain barrier into the spinal cord and dissolves the scar.

Once the scar is reduced, regeneration can occur.

When will it be available?

We are currently working towards clinical trials of CNTR-20. The technology has been proven to work in animals, we are now in the process of the regulatory steps needed so we can move to clinic trials.

We need to finalise the correct dose levels and confirm safety before we apply to the regulators for clinical trial approval.
